Default My friends wrecked GT500!

Well my buddy bought this car about 8 months ago, came from Cali... car had a tvs blower and nitrous, and made 853rwhp with the nitrous...
Anyways, a friend of his took the car for a ride with or without his permission (of course there are 2 different stories of what really happened) Somehow the kid lost control of the car and went into the woods, smashed into a huge boulder, and a few trees. the crash happened on a real tight winding road and the roads were alittle wet the night of the crash... when the police arrived they noticed the nitrous bottle was open and the gaurded switch was up. the kid had a concussion and lost his front tooth.
Here are the pics!

Needless to say, they are no longer friends! the owner of the gt500 is claiming that his friend took the car without permission, but the kid who took the car is claiming that the owner told him to take the car for a ride because there was a loud noise comming from the rear and wanted him to see if he knew what the noise was... the owner of the car is telling police that the kid "stole" the car... the owner of the car also said the kid driving sniffed some pain killers before driving the car... the accident is still under investigation and have not heard the results from the toxology reports yet.

Nothing screwy about it... You let someone drive your car better be preppared for worst case happening... Nobody to blame but himself..

Woooooow! That looks like it was a pretty bad wreck. I wonder how fast he was going when he lost it. And if the guy was looking for a noise in the rear, why would the nitrous need to be opened and engaged? Obviously the guy had other intentions that trying to figure out what the noise was...

im not a mustang person, but that is a shame. Sounds like with the info provided that the kid took the car for a joy ride. if he was looking for a noise in the rear, why wasnt the owner riding with him to point out the specific noise?

That's pretty terrible but I never understand why high hp cars run around on street tires. It sucks that there are so many questions about what happened and the real story will probably never come out.

Glock, the car is from Beacon Falls...
Egott, the kid said he was only doing 30mph, but the police said from how far he pushed the huge boulder into the woods he was doing 100+mph. And like you said, why was the nitrous bottle open and the gaurded switch up? definately seems like a joy ride to me!
Sabastian, i was thinking the same thing! why wouldnt the owner go with the kid to point out the noise...
Kaltech, the car had 20" rims on it and did not hook at all! the car would just spin tire! definately useless! And like you said, who knows what really happened. the kid has not gotten any tickets yet or has been charged with stealing the car yet...
Oh and i forgot to mention, the Airbags Did NOT deploy!

Because we are street cars and I happen to drive in the rain... Doesnt mean I lay the wood to it in the rain.. But I sure as hell am going to do all I can to not drive on my slicks or drag radials in the rain.. Its takes some common sense.. Obvious the owner failed bad here with the road conditions. And drivng in the rain with slicks or drag radials is very dangerous to the other people on the road. Its the idiots who drive on slicks and very worn drag radials in the rain. That just a hazard to everyone.
