It's actually 50 posts or 6-month membership. It's best to read all Announcements and Sticky threads as they usually contain important and frequently asked information.

After your 50th post, it takes a period of 24 hours to update your access to the classifieds forums. DO NOT make a post requesting instant access upon making your 50th post, the system is automated. Default Trying to Post a For Sale ad

When I try to post a for sale ad in the classifieds, it's telling me I don't have sufficient privileges. Yes I read the sticky, I have been here for over 6 months.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks,

Pete

Whats the dilemma??? You must complete 6 months, not ON the 6th month. You have been here 5 months and a few days.

Your post counter shows 3 posts, and your thread here is visable, so your account is definitely working. I'm guessing that the section you can't post in is the classifieds. If so:

It's 50 (non-inflated) posts or 6-month membership. It's best to read all Announcements and Sticky threads as they usually contain important and frequently asked information.

Default Posting in classifieds??

Each time I try to post in the classified section, it says I don't have the proper access. Do I have to have a certain number of posts elsewhere before I can post there?

Thanks,
Scott
