I was clearly trolling but honestly locally, IRL. I haven't seen the issue. Even with my friends 98 which according to the internet all have this issue. Not sure what to tell you. My other buddy went 12.1 at 115 slipping the clutch all night and no lift shifting the car on a stock clutch, trans, shifter, drvieline etc..

Good troll.

Fwiw I've never personally witnessed a 5.0 run 12s stock either... As far as I'm concerned they are not even capable of 12s.

I could rev my V all day to 7000rpm and shift just fine. All stock clutch and cylinder.

Id say after owning this one it is a high 12s car stock. That is if you can get the clutch to work right.

I changed my master. not because it ever stuck, it was just plain insufficient.

so now when i ask you what you got done its "im done responding" lmao , im willing to bet that "fine example of an automobile" doesnt even run at the moment.

..typical foxbody owner, mouth bigger then their motor.
Nice sig! Another Mustang guy getting under your skin?

Don't worry about what my car has, it's a stupid simple setup that's outdated stick to your steel motored 700hp NA stock internal monster.

BTW since when does someone having their car apart to work on it make them less credible? Guess you need to hawk more threads on here and talk about the price of your exhaust and try to burn people for working on their cars I'm sure installing the lid on your car and having the exhaust shop weld your **** on was an all summer project.

You're a clown. I get dumber when I read your posts. Your sig prompted me to see what the hell you (most likely) had to say in this thread when I read your grade-school response in the OVA/Lawhead thread after I made no mention of your name. If you're gonna be juvenile, at least keep it all in this thread.

Congrats on being #2 to go on my ignore list as of now

When you own something as expensive as an F-body you can afford to pay people to work on it. Wrenching is for poor people...

you live in the Quad cities? of course you havent seen 12's. the coyote is too depressed from all of the unemployment, job losses, closed factories, and losers, to run a good time there. i feel sorry for you. terrible place to "live".

Damn, dude, he's one of the most objective people in this section. He isn't bashing on 5.0's chill! I do disagree, though, with the comment about not being capable of 12's.

The majority of people in that area seem like they work at The Xelon Nuclear plant. That place employes a good amount of the work force there.. at least when I was there last.

when i lived there, it was closing plants. 15-20 percent unemployment. forclosures everywhere. depression. anxiety. hopelessness.

alcoa was the big employer there. the arsenal. drab and depressing area.

heck the parents even let a home forclose. there was ZERO folks able to buy **** there.

maybe its better now. that was 1980.

oh, and its Exelon.

P.S. i never said a thing pro or con about his comments. just a useless comment like his.

It was tongue in cheek. I haven't seen a 5.0 do it therefor it's not possible. That's the logic that was asserted here... We see negative DA in the spring/fall and I've seen bone stock 5th gens running high 12s so I have no doubt 5.0s are hitting mid 12s here.

Exelon, 3M, Alcoa and John Deere still hold it down here. Housing market didn't crash here and unemployment stayed pretty level as well. He tried... have to give him credit for that at least. RIA benefited from the Middle East action so it's doing ok as well.

I was born in 81 so what you said may have been true. (Farm collapse was early 80s IIRC) It's also the Midwest so most people want to blow their face off after a few winters here. I won't claim it's not a depressing area but I'm certainly not hurting.

Oops..thanks for the correction on "Exelon". I also noticed that you are from Huntsville. Was just there three weeks ago working at Qualitest. I have to say that I never knew the NASA museum was there. I almost **** my pants when I saw the Saturn 5 rocket (I think it was) and the Space Shuttle! Did not expect that when I was driving down the road. Wish I had time to go to the museum.
Have to say that Huntsville is a cool place!
