Default Stock Fuel feed lines limits??

At what rwhp limit should I upgrade my stock fuel feed & return lines??
I am after the 750rwhp mark but I dont know if my Walbro 400 will make it or the stock fuel lines..
Any advice please!!
I plan on running my stock fuel lines to a Fuel pressure regulator, with a return line, then fuel rails..

From what I have researched/seen, 600 ish, RWHP is bout the limit on the stock fuel lines. Your not gonna do it with stock lines to get to 750 RWHP.

I think there are people who have pushed the stock feed lines a whole lot further than 750whp.

I think you meant "fuel lines".

I'm not claiming to know it all, but I definitely did not hear of anyone pushing 750+RWHP on the stock lines. I was at just over 600 to the tire with the stock lines and it seemed about the limit to me. Others from my research at the time who had their sights north of 700 RWHP all seemed to upgrade the lines as well.

That's plenty. Always build a fuel system that you can grow into so you only have to do it once

There are some fifth gen guys making 1000 or so HP on 5/16" line.
I can think of at least one BMW that made 1500 HP on -6 AN Feed/Return lines on race gas.

-10 AN line is good to 2500+ HP. Lots of Pro-Mod guys run -10 AN lines making huge horsepower. Aeromotive's 3000 HP fuel system uses a -20 AN line from the fuel cell to the pump, and then -10 AN from pump to rails.

Most people go overboard on their fuel system. There are a few N/A guys local to me using -10 Feed line on their 600 HP N/A big blocks because they swear -8 AN isn't big enough. With enough fuel pressure, you can push massive amounts of fuel through those smaller lines.

I run 6an on my truck for feed and return and make 650rwhp on corn, and have turned it up futher on the street.

The drag car uses two 8an lines on alky to make 2500hp.

3/8" stock line will go to 800rwhp all day with a good pump(s).

I am still on the stock lines and made 760rwhp/700rwtq and pressure was still fine at the rail.

That's with or without meth supplementing fuel?

I'm curious what the real limit of stock 3/8" fuel rails on E85 actually are. I'm near or above your power level on stock 3/8" lines but it's tapped out with 2 walbro 450s pushing. I just can't figure out if it's the stock regulator on the rail or the actual line size.

I did 900whp with stock feed and the stock evap as a return. My car has been like that for like 4 years.

I run water/meth, and I'm on the stock regulator, so I'm not 100% sure of the limits. I need to put a boost referenced regulator in the car, which will help with controlling IDC but I was only at 75% at the 760rwhp level.

I'm at 616 RWHP on stock fuel lines, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator. 60# injectors, Lonnie's dual in tank 255's pumps. Plan on pushing this to the 700 mark in the spring.

Also to add my meth/water injection doesn't supplement any of my fueling.

I have a set of ID2000's that I got for a good deal for my setup. I have twin intank aeromotive 340's(one only comes on under boost), with stock lines, feeding a 5.3 w/ a Huron Speed single PT7675 a2a kit. I'm going to run the LJMS Stage II cam w/hand ported 799's. I'm looking to hit the 800whp mark. Due to funds I'm going to have to stick with the stock lines and regulator. Plans are to run E85.

If skinnies is correct, I shouldn't have a problem hitting my mark, right?

Interesting thing I found about return lines, the Aeromotive 13109 regulator I'm using has an internal passage of only ~0.18" or so on the return orifice, so equivelant or smaller to various brands of 4AN line. Always interesting to find the restricting point in a system.

What pump... I am going with a 450 Walbro soon... With a boost of pump.. Going to run an f1a on my 383...

Kenny bell is running 1000 hp with stock type pumps and lines, with the boost of pump, which works off a hobbs switch.

I do have 10 an line, and 8 an line from an old race car.. But don't know if that is necessary...

Are you running a return?

I am not sure what I should do...

My 900whp hp with stock feed and evap line as return was using twin walbro 255s, aeromotive 1:1 regulator. I ran it like that for 4 years, I have since added meth so its even easier on the fuel system.
