Dunno. That's how they come. I read quite a few good reviews on here about the MGW so I thought I would give it a shot. When its installed the position feels good tho.

Default The Laundry List

Okay fellas. I think I finished up all of the drivetrain work. The only thing I am missing is the intake tubing. The factory one has seen better days and wont fit over the 85mm MAF so I ordered an new piece from intakehoses.com. I also reached out to Pat G. He is going to remote tune the car so that I can drive it to his shop for a final tune. Here is the laundry list. Please let me know if I forgot something or if you have a recommendation. The goal on this build was to build a reliable NA street/strip car. Please forgive the long post.

Tick 7.500 pushrods
Morel 5315 lifters
Melling High Pressure (standard volume) oil pump
Cloyes timing set
LS6 valley cover
SLP 160 degree thermostat
Norris Catch Can

Induction:
Fast Toys 104mm Lid
GM 85mm MAF
NW 92mm TB
Fast 92

Exhaust:
AR 1 7/8 LT
AR 3in Offroad Y-pipe
Magnaflow 3" cat back

Fueling:

Speed Inc High Volume Fuel Rails
Racetronix fuel pump w/ hotwire kit

Drivetrain:

Strange driveshaft

Suspension & Chassis:

I am running a Toyo Proxy TQ 315/35/17 on the rear. I wanted something better but I am running out of $$ for this build

Items Deleted:

Cats
Air Pump & EGR
LS1 PCV system (replaced with LS6 style)
Fuel EVAP System
PS Cooler (replaced with Derale)

Thoughts? Concerns? Advice?

The files have been sent to Pat G for tuning. Can't wait to get them back and see this thing fire up.

Been a while since I updated this. Went on first drive to get more gas. Maybe 1.5 miles from my house. No exhaust past the y-pipe and no tags so didn't go too far...just to fill it up. It was still dirty from sitting in my garage for 3-4 months but I'll be damned if it didn't drive great right out the box. At the shop now making sure the rear alignment is set up right and getting the rest of the exhaust put on.

Going to Pat G's next week to finish up the tune on his dyno so I have just been cruising around trying to get the break in done on the clutch and the S60. He did a remote tune for me to get it up and running. I did some data logging for him and he sent me an updated tune last night. Not sure how much more it has in it as it runs damn good now. Also had the windows re-tinted and a new head unit put in. It passed inspection with his tune with no problem. After the tune is done I am going g to get this thing detailed like a ****. The pic is me stopping for lunch during the S60 break in.

Just rolled back from the dyno tune w/ Pat G. Well worth the 2.5 hour drive. It put down 432 HP/ 395 TQ on his Mustang Dyno. Really happy with the drivability of his tune. He had tuned it remotely before putting it on the dyno so it didn't take him long at all and he got it locked in. Really impressed with how well he got it running. Curve looks good too. They shut it down at 6600 rpm but set my rev limit at 7000. It still pulls up there. Him and Kurt were real nice. I just stayed out of the way and let them do their thing. He hasn't sent me graph yet so all I have is a pic of the screen. Now it just needs a new dash (when ever I can find one) and a detail. Big thanks to Pat G, Martin Smallwood, the guys at Tick, and Carl at CRP for helping me out with this. Couldn't be happier with the result. Now let's see how long my ADD *** can keep it before getting board.

Here is the graph. This was done on Pat G's Mustang Dyno. After some seat time I am just really happy with the results. Was thinking about running a little 100 shot on it. I have never run nitrous before so I will probably be hitting up the forum for advice when the time comes if that is the way I decide to go.
