Been a couple days, got a few things closer, and feel like I went backwards on a ton. While I'm waiting for parts, I decided that I needed to re run my wiring harness for a cleaner look, which led me to want to mount the ecu inside the car. Basically I've spent about 3 hours cleaning up old wiring, cutting out a ratty autostart the previous owner hacked in, and trying to get everything zip tied in like streams, doesn't look great but it's 1000% better than it was.
Got computer mounted secure behind the glove box. nice and clean. <br/>
I also got my Tick master cylinder installed. Needed to message the bracket a little to get it to fit, but it's in, should be a big improvement over stock.
Dropped the trans to put a new tailshaft seal in, new slave, and install the Tick speed bleeder
got most of the cold side done, just waiting on one tight cast aluminum 90 from turbo to ic side. prety please with how it turned out. I will put some old hose cut in half around the boost passing through the rad support so it doesnt rub and cut them. Also got the fuel pressure reg mounted, and the return line run. I'm using my old -6 nylon feed line as the return line now, just waiting on my -8 hose to build my new feed line.
Starting to look like what I had in mind in my head.
we will see what happens, I've got the ls6 cam in my 6.0 in it right now with the 76, so I'm hoping it's not too small. It will be a good first build anyways.
Initia burn off of the new itmes... love that smell. Got 150 miles on it and then.... bad news...
Started getting heavy smoke under boost.... puffing like a chimney out of the filler neck... uh oh.
Pulled the plugs... all of them are LEAN!!!
LEAN!!! did compression test, 58# in #1 hole... time to pull the motor and see why.
Oh thats why... 2 broken ring lands.
Motor went from running in the car to on the engine stand in 1 hour 20 minutes by myself... anger pull!!!
Head off, old piston out, replaced with used piston, my rings, replaced all of the rod bearings, re-used the stock rod bolts( motor never goes above 6000 rpm)
Bolt on 69 Camaro turbo kit anyone?
While it was out I made my own beadroller with old wire crimpers to bead all the coldside piping.
All back together. runs great! boost is addicting.
Should be ready for some street killing...
Added a Mightymouse PCV Catch can to take care of any remaining blow by.
What inercooler and size ?I'm also doing a 69 camaro with a simular setup

I like the build. I got a 67 I've been working off an on for awhile. I just got my t56 bolted in last night and it was a pain in the ***. Twin disc was not lining up.
Anyway I'm running a 3.5"x12"x24 bell Intercooler that fits pretty good. No latch tho.
