So I finally finished these rims I've been working on forever. My work schedule has been insane, but after cleaning, prepping, sanding, filling and priming, sanding again, painting, sanding, painting again, clearing and curing... They turned out pretty freaking good..... Doing a little something special with my center caps, so they aren't on yet... But check out the results. Couldn't be happier with them. Yaaay!.
I had to use a mix of engine degreaser purple power and aluminum brightner to get all that stuff off the rims. Just cleaning them was damn near a two-day process lol
Honestly I have no clue it was just the MACS brand aluminum brightener and it was so dirty that I didn't care how it took it off. They had so much pitting and scarring that I just wanted them clean enough to prime
