So I picked up a FAST 90 that used to have a direct port on it for my zo6. It currently has the nozzles installed but nothing else. Was thinking of buying a lot and plumbing it myself. Anyone have experience doing this? Any tools to make it easier? What do I need to be careful of? I know I will need a bender and a flaring tool. Any tips? What kit did you buy that was most user friendly. I have ran nitrous kits before but this will be my first direct port that I would be doing myself. I am still thinking of sending it in and having done, but this thought has crossed my mind
We offer everything you would need to plumb an intake like the one pictured below along with the tools to do so. If you would like you can give me a call at the shop 254-848-4300 ext 111 or you can email me at Matt@Nitrousoutlet.com and i can send you an itemized quote. - Matt
I just finished mine. There is only 3 things that you need when doing it. A good bender, a VERY good flaring tool, and lots of patience. Here is the kit I finished plumbing for my Camaro. It took me several days working 1-2 hours to get it right.
however I always want to hide it beneath the manifold. Isn't there enough space down there? I want everything hidden from view, "nope officer that isnt a nitrous system on my car, its just a big metal spider" doesnt work.

On the FAST 102 there is not enough room. I do not know about the LS1/LS6 manifold though.

its alot harder then u would think. i started to do mine but my buddy at kentucky speed talked me into just sending it off. tell u right now they do a killer job. but if ur dead set on doing it urself the right tools to do a good job will cost ya about 80 for a bender small radius one. and 150-200 for a good flair tool that dont scar everything up. that line can be a pain to bend. but def can be done with the right tools.
