Not a good night forsure.
.1st run almost hit the wall. Crossed to the right lane, luckily i was able to drive it away from the wall. But as soon as 2nd gear kicked and it went full boost it kicked straight to the right.

2nd run.... launched and it was stuck in 2nd gear.
Peddled it a bunch of times and didnt hit it till mid track, still trapped 124mph.

It was bad all around. Not a good night at all.
Need suspension. Bigger tire. And the trans needs to be looked at.

That’s a stinker! Did you hit something on the track like water/oil maybe? Rear end not square? What do you think caused the car to not go straight? Seems odd it went straight on the street in the past?

Are you using the one PWM output on the micro? I gotta say progressive boost/timing made the biggest overall difference in making a big turbo car drivable. 2-3 second ramp does wonders. You could probably do it all with timing if you don’t want to mess with the boost control.

Hey do you have any good info on setting up progressive boost and timing curves? Any way to base it off mph? I am setting up my MS Gold now and really interested on which parameters I will want to utilize to keep traction...boost by gear/speed, timing as well, or use speed pickup on front and rear wheels to control boost and/or timing to keep traction. Im running a 6 speed btw, not sure how this will factor in as opposed to an auto. Thanks in advance.

OP - When you said turned, I didnt know you meant SIDEWAYS till I saw the picture...nice recovery! Glad your safe!

As far as I know, the Microsquirt firmware does not support any type of progressive boost strategies. You can use the FIDLE output to PWM a boost solenoid in open or closed loop. I supposed you could have an RPM based boost ramp.

Time based timing retard from the launch input release of some sort would be the best method with the micro I’d think. Can you setup the fiddle output to activate and progressively add boost over time from the launch input ?

I'd have to look at the options again. I know all of that can be done on an MS3x system, not sure what the micro options are.

Curious to see how those pistons hold up. They are pretty tempting.

After seeing that sideways pic, I'd say it's time for a cage... Props on the build.
