That was a refreshing first drive. Still tons of work left but it cruises amazing for a pt4000' kinda wish I would have went with a pt4400 now.

Car runs excellent until you start to get into the throttle, then it lays over and cuts out. I do have a stock lt1 fuel pump in there lol. Going to do some logging tomorrow and see what we got going on.

Well I went ahead and ordered the Fti custom grind from Ed Curtis, and I'll be doing the Straub trunion upgrade at the same time. Have a goal of a 10 second n/a car. Also I'll be swapping in a stealth 340 pump.

Had brand new auto lite plugs in it, because I had them laying around. Cut out bad. Put in ngktr55 and it runs perfect. Go figure

its more compatible to the expensive trans fluids. Tons of turbo trans brake guys using it, has likendouble the heat withstanding capabilities as normal dex. 'Any superior items about it, and it's cheaper!

Question, I am under the impression that my trans (4L65E) is required (OE requirements) to use Dexron® VI transmission fluid. Is this Hydra-gear
fluid compatable with that?

Yup, I run it in my 04 avalanche, my 99 z71, the other autos I have. It is far superior to the over the counter fluids.

Take note, there are two different viscosities. You can use either, but the low viscosity, pictured above, is the same weight as dex. Which is 10w I believe. The standard weight hygaurd is 20w I believe

No problem! I've never had good luck with them.

Fired it up with the new fuel system, Intake etc and it liked something. Exhaust is much louder and more radical.

8.8 is complete with dual calipers

Well spring fever has hit me pretty hard it seams. Sold my 00' z71 sas project, looking at buying a coan trans brake, Viking double adjustable shocks, and moser 31 spline axles. Can't wait. Here are a few pictures of progress.

Nice build! One of my favorite all time cars... IROC-Z! Is your car a true IROC or a Z28 with IROC stickers? Usually IROC's were one color, Z28's had the lower spoilers painted gold/silver. Either way, badass project and awesome fab skills

Thanks man! I'm pretty sure it's a z28 that's had iroc stickers added. But it's a nice body for $350 so I didn't care haha. I just picked up another, on accident lol.
