Default 6.0 Huron v1 kit with s475 need info!

So I picked up a low mileage 6.0 a few days ago for 600. I scooped up this hot and cold side. I also am in the process of purchasing a brand new s475 in the box. Can anyone tell me what else I'll need to install this in my 98 z28? What will I have too do to get the 6.0 to live behind 650-700 rwhp? What waste gate and bov ? I'm really green when it comes to turbo setups as I'm used to nitrous cars . Do I run a passenger side truck manifold on the drivers side to link the c6 manifold ? What k member do you guys recommend to retain the air conditioning? Will the stock motor handle that kind of power untouched? Over the winter I plan on installing arp rod bolts, forged rods and slugs, arp head studs, and a custom grind turbo cam. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'd like to be able to use this same turbo next year to break 1000 at the tires as well. I do wanna run the aem true boost setup. My buddy has it in his car , and I love the push button low high boost on the fly and the simplicity to use . Could I run a on3 intercooler with meth to get my horsepower goals this year? Again sorry for all the questions but I wanna get this thing together as fast as possible and I don't even know where to begin !!

Kit will require a Turbo K-member from BMR, PA Racing or the like.
Will take a 44-46mm wastegate such as a aPrecision PW46, Turbosmart Hyper-gate 45, etc.
For a S475, considering this kit was not designed for one, you are going to have to fab a new downpipe with the 4" v-band for it, you will also need to fabricate a brace to support the extra weight of the S400 (recommended on this V1 kit)
You will need to modify the cold side turbo from the turbo to the intercooler to mate to the S475's outlet location with the V-band depending which compressor cover your S475 has.
You will need to stand up the radiator to fit the bulkier S400 turbo.
This should cover most of your questions, to keep it safe I would do valve springs, keep boost lower and make sure you have enough fuel as always! 2 pumps in the tank and a minimum of 80# injectors on gas, e85 will require more fuel system.

What turbo was this made for? I haven't purchased the s475 yet, but the amount of work you just described doesn't sound the least enticing to me for a first time turbo build. I jumped the gun here on eBay, but ya gotta get into boost somewhere and I figured this was a a good start.

Standard t4 such as a precision pt7675cea, Turbonetics t series 7875 or 7575, Turbonetics hurricane series, comp ct43 or any of the others that are on the same frame as these, s400 would be a mid frame

So OP, did you win the bid, and if so, what did you end up paying?

685, which to me is Way less than the value of my time it'd take to replicate. I'm very happy with the purchase without a doubt and excited to start building this turbo car

ive heard that the on3 7875 appears identical to the turbonetics 7875, if this is true , should I stay budget oriented and keep the cost low, till I can afford the proper piping and setup to mount a s475-s480 in a t6?

For your goals and set up, keep it simple and bolt on a basic t4, will do everything you want and make it all much more simple for you!

i think I'm going it take a budget approach, and get this thing done asap. A few weeks out , and I'm gonna be busting out the sleds haha. Only way I'd get to enjoy the car in October is to drive a few hundred miles south." We typically have a few inches of the white stuff by Halloween " I think I'm gonna run with the on3 7875 bb turbo . My buddy has their journal bearing setup, and a 250 dollar junkyard 5.3 and it absolutely wails! A few questions, is this mounted high enough for Gravity to do its thing or should I invest in a scavenger pump ? I'll probably install this on my ls1 and run low boost till winter hits and source everything for my 6.0 and buIld over the winter . Can I run 7-8 psi on my ls1 and be safe? I don't want to trash the ls1 as they are really hard to find, as well as quite pricey opposed to even a low mileage 6.0. For my intercooler needs, what would you guys recommend ? I just don't want to drop 1300.00 on a turbo like the s475, that's gonna take so much fab work to get going . Since I've already bought this kit it makes sense to get into it for as little as possible with proven "low cost" parts , that way I'm not so invested when I switch directions between November -March. I want a turbo setup that works, makes good power for now , and I can source what I need very quickly to get the job done

According to Viren, the billet 78/75 turbo will be around the $500.00 mark. Official pricing will be out in a week or so.

Now with this kit to retain my ac, do I order a bmr low mount k member or just their standard turbo k member? I'm trying to source all the parts I'll need and haven't really gotten very far.. So far I've come up with turbo, oil line kit, wg, bov, intercooler, passenger side truck manifold, turbo k member, boost controller, alternator relocation bracket, (turbo brace) regardless of turbo) to my understanding . Ive already ordered the racetronix f98 pump with Hotwire and I'm gonna use the bap as well for all my fueling needs right now on top of my ss 60 lb injectors . I want this thing to spool fast and pull hard ! 6-700 rwhp would be awesome . I just wanna get moving on this thing right now before the wife locks down on the bank account and it all goes towards remodeling the house we bought two weeks ago. Where is a good budget intercooler I can ****** up that will support my goals and will I need any cold side piping ? I have a fast dual wideband setup and hp tuners .

Id personally go with something with a bigger turbine wheel. On my old 6.0 with just a small cam and a Turbonetics 7875, it made 675 on 12lbs of boost. You could go the On3 route for a budget build as well.

I was thinking that turbo is a tad small too. A 78/75 would work well on this setup. Even the ON3 88mm turbo may be a good option.

im running it on a stock ls1 , this winter I'll buy a second and run twins . I know it's not gonna pull till redline but it's gonna spool very fast, and make great power up too 5000-5500 . I bought t brand new in the box for 700 , which is a steal. Even if I don't like it I can always sell it and buy two on3 turbos for the spring
