Default Dyno Test of Super Vic vs. Vic Jr vs. GMPP

Hey Guys. West Bend Dyno Tuning just posted this dyno test comparison on Facebook. The engine is 416" with rectangle port heads. It is not quite a fair test because it seems the Super Vic was ported while the others were not. But, still good data:

Default Wegner Cam Choice

Yes, Mike @ Wegner is also very good at head porting.

This is one reason I referred Wegner, Gary, as a Camshaft Supply artist.

They manufacture the GMPP intakes, dist drive, etc.

Very interesting! Surprised to see the ported SV peaked 100-200rpm sooner than the others.

Thanks for the info Steve!

Any idea what the cam specs were and compression of this engine?

I don't but you can see it ran out of cam. Look how the torque hangs on with the super vic. With more cam, I am betting the super vic will peak a good bit later than the other intakes..

That's the main reason why I asked about the cam specs because it definitely looks out of cam for the size of the engine.
