Default What is this green fuel in my rail??????

I bought a flex fuel 5.3 about 6 years ago or so, and today I pulled an injector from the intake that has been in my basement the whole time and got this brilliant emerald green fuel out of it! Not sure what it is, but is that what e85 ethanol turns into, or could it be some kind of fuel stabilizer added by the junk yard? The other engine I bought at the same time didnt have it, and it smells just like old fuel......

Looks Minty Fresh!

I was going to joke and say it was anti freeze (although GM is pink) but that doesn't even look like that. Very weird.

I know they put fuel dye in off road diesel, and that's red. Never seen any dye in unleaded.....

as far as I know there are only two useful things you can do with corn alcohol

#1 turn it into kentucky straight bourbon whiskey

#2 put it in a turbo LSx car
