TB is on the way. Where can I buy the rubber ring/gasket that goes on the intake's inlet? Mine does not have one.

I will do mine the same way, but in black. Did you use a paint pen? Did you tape anything off, or were you just really careful? Looks great.

For the lettering.. started with a red paint pen.. horrible idea, turned out pink.. if it wasnt for the pink issue it would have been a breeze..used brake clean to remove that and sprayed the low gloss black over it again.. went to advanced auto and got the duplicolor scratch repair pen that was GM victory red.. used the small brush to apply it, took about 4 coats and was a little tedious, but wasn't bad.. have a couple spots that it ran a little and had to use paper towel to soak it up.. after, I applied the clear coat on just the lettering that comes as part of the scratch repair pen.. the rest of the intake was all light coats of 500 degree low gloss black engine enamel.. debating doing a satin clear coat over the whole thing.. It looks awesome in person, not as glossy as the flash makes it look in some pictures. It's practically satin black

So you applied that with a brush? My hand is not that steady.

Yea I applied with a brush by hand, you don't need to be as steady as you would think..it helps that the lettering is raised and it's a fine brush.. in your case with black, I'd use a black paint pen.. the paint pens are real simple to use.. I just had to switch to the brush because my red paint pen was looking pink lol..

Red accent would look good with the silver too.. I think either would look good, your motor looks real nice!

Are you going to port the inlet to 92mm? I started last night and removed quite a bit of material, but still need to remove more. I'm a little worried I may remove too much to where I'll have issues with the gasket/seal. In order to achieve 92mm, you have to leave just barely any edge at all.

Not yet (and may not)....be careful. I had my ACad guy draw me a 90mm circle inside a 92mm circle for a visual and template. The difference was so small I had to put on my cheaters to tell there were two circles!
Reduce the pdf to 100% for actual size.

Nice visual. I've already started, but I'm no where near any danger zone regarding getting the gasket/seal to fit properly. I'll finish that up tonight and then the intake will be 100% ready to go on. Just need the TB and lid to show up so I can do the swap. Then it's back off to the dyno.

My intake is painted black and I used a white paint pen. The pen has a rounded tip so I used a razor to make it flat. From there it was cake, only trick being making sure the tip is wet enough to coat smooth but not so loaded it causes runs down the lettering. Pretty easy.
