Default Inside stock fuel pulse damper on rail question

I'm wondering if anyone knows what is inside the silver pulse damper on stock LS1 rails.

I removed everything from the rail because I wanted to clean them out completely, and when I was pulling the pulse damper out, it was really tight and when it finally popped out I lost my grip and it flew across the room and I have no way of knowing if it is damaged on the inside and it's not a cheap part.

Thank you for any help

Default Pusle Dampener

This item is like a Fuel Regulator, it's internal construction is spring with rubber
disk.

Thanks for the info. So it sounds like it should be good to go.
