My shitty dual pump install

My shitty dual pump install
So I started out doing it all by the book
But if you can tell there is no way to get the hose to connect with the racetronix fitting being so high in the pump and centered the hose was completely kinked this way and the pumps had no room to move down.
So I ended up cutting the bucket off all together and ziptied the pumps in and ziptied the hanger and sensor in.
Everything seems good and sturdy. Probably pull it out and check it in a month or so and do some metal zipties and better fuel line clamps.

When I did mine dual pumps I was concerned about uncovering the fuel pumps pickup at low fuel levels since my car was a driver but after I pulled the bucket I found that the mod had already been done and I've never had an issue and it was like that for years.

I was going to say I think most everybody cuts the bottom out of the bucket if not the bottom AND the sides. No way to get both pumps in with the stock crap in the bottom. Seen a lot of people running similar setup for 700+hp no problem. Just have to keep an eye on fuel level and a/f when stomping on it.

With the holes in the bottom it will only stay as full as whats in the tank anyway though. My racetronix kit would not have fit in like that... If I was to do it again I would have used a 90 fitting instead of the racetronix fitting that centers it. Mine should flow better then one with a 90* though.
