We both need to work on our combos. That is why we were there. It was a chance meeting to say the least. Hell, I offered to port his IM/TB in a quest for him to go faster. I only care how well my car does. I am only racing myself really. I only posted up to clarify what is done to my car and the times I have run. I probably shouldn't have even mentioned Poppa's car. I didn't feel it was about winning or losing between us. The line up we got was an accident really. We were both just out there to tweak and tune our combos to see where we ended up.

I would love a straight up tuned to the hilt mod for mod line up. A re-stalled stock converter for my car is going to cost me $1,500 out of the gate. The kid doesn't have that laying around. I am going to work on getting the cutouts on there and getting the rest of the tune dialed in. Stalled and back on E with the exhaust done should be solid 10's in the same weather we had yesterday.

 

Poppa was saying how highly he regards Pray in my private talks with him. I for one am very impressed with how your car runs on self tuning. I believe with time you will find a great tun for that 6G. In a few years they will be something special for sure.

I will say that Poppa's wash and wax job was on point yesterday. I was super jelly on how dang good his car looks. The black on yellow is legit. I also thought his car ran great. Once his tune is dialed in and he gets some of the changes done he was talking about he will be right there at 10's as well.

Look around the 6g forums. Most guys won't even spring for a proper drag pack. The car is very capable it's a lot of the owners that are lacking

 

10s can be had full weight (other than drag pack etc) on pump e85 in my opinion. And I agree with you. Not saying the cars are not capable... only that none are doing it right now
