That's what I ended up with, stainless, should be here next week. The r/p showed up last night-- from Midwaymustang-- would highly recommend this outfit--nice stuff and reasonable - this is where my Ls 3 came from. The rack looks like the fit up shouldn't be to bad, a few brackets, and shorten the tie rods - looks like that will do it, will give me a lot of room on left side of engine. The Hollet 302-1 oil pan was the trick. Here are some pix of the car at the start.

An lq4 water pump will work(truck spacing is the same) but you will also need the belt tensioner for the lq4 pump

Some of those business coupes had no back seat and was open all the way through to the deck lid. Story goes the salesman would bring along a sleeping bag and spend the night stretched out among his samples-wares in the back. Good looking build!!

Your right about sleeping in the rear, a lot of these cars had a piece of plywood for a rear seat, my dad bought this used, in about 1951, we had a 1939 Chevy before this car. Hope this will look a little different when i'm done.

Got my stainless headers last Thursday they fit nice, a little cutting, nice. Had to remove the x member, will gusset sides of frame to beef it up. The r/p steering fits nice, fabed the brackets, fit up nice, brackets will need to be gusseted and tigged up-- a few lightning holes , will add a little Cool factor. The tie rods will need to be shortened but that shouldn't be a big thing. Cut a notch out of the trany cross member. This trany cross will get a set of 4" tubes welded in for the exhaust to pass through. Wish the weather would improve working out in the drive way SUCKS-- snowing right now but it is February,oh well Removed a few circuts from the harness ---this part of the build will need to wait till I can get the right Pin Out for this. Wane did some reading on your Camaro holy sh#t--- will be one hell of a ride when it's done. Did a little fabing on the p/s rack, got the brackets made, still need gussets, lightning hole, and grinding to smooth out plazma cuts, corners rounded ----- a little more fit up and this will work out just fine. The tie rods will need to be shortened about 6" but thats not a big deal. This will look nice when finished A few pix--- would like to get this finished today but the weather looks to be shitty for a wile, it is February in Montana

Took the car off the roto to set on the frame, this fit up nice, I'm quite pleased the way this is working out Trany fit right in. will use brake booster, pedals and steering shaft. Now that this is in my shop,I can turn on the heater and work and get something done, instead of waiting on the weather. Larry

I tried to post some wiring diagrams on your other thread, but it won't let me, says they are an invalid file. I could screenshot them, but I think when you blow them up, you'll lose the resolution and wont be able to read them. I can try and email them to you if you want to PM me an email address.

Fernando T has an LS swapped Chevy. He just changed from nitrous to turbo. He's on FB but apparently the site is not letting me post link.

A few pix. Received my lower A/C mount from Dirty Dingo will work out nice, cross member will need to be cut out to clear A/C Sanden 7 compressor. Will need to fab some supports for brake, clutch pedals under dash. ----------- Does this ever end?? Finished the trany mount, but still needs cut outs so the exhaust can pass through the center. Later Larry

A few pix--- cut hole for shifter, fabed rear bracket to support p/b clutch. Need some help finding the correct fuel line fitting to connect line to a AN BLACK bulkhead fitting ------ I've found a male adapter to plug into the line but not a female that will screw on the bulkhead fitting . Your help will help a lot. Received the A/C compressor fit up will need to box in the frame --- where it's marked, Plan on installing the EVAP in the trunk-- the gas filler is in the trunk, so this should take care of the fumes ???????? I should be able to use the trany cooler lines-- by changing the flex lines Thanks for your help,Larry
