Time for another update I think. Over winter I installed twin 255's in tank, put in a stand up griffin radiator, upgraded to a t-7875, and up'd the boost to about 16lbs.

Stand up radiator

Twin pumps

New turbo

Car ran a best of 10.3@138 mph yesterday. Couldnt get it to hook on the 2-step at 2800rpm so had to baby it off the line. Added a degree of timing and raised shift points the last few passes and trapped 141 but couldnt keep it straight

How did you get your lokar to stay in place and not slide out? Mine seems to easily pop out when I pull on it and wouldn't want it to do so on a wot.

That's what I figured. I wouldn't have ran what I did without there help. John does all the tuning and has taught me a lot on EFI live already. And I go to jake for a bunch of info also. They have built and tuned a lot of fast n/a, nitrous, and turbo LS cars around here as I'm sure you know.. I still want to do a turbo silverado because of them someday lol.

I need to figure out how to get the 60ft down now. After I started getting it to stall up and hit the 2-step at 2800rpm and had traction issues I should have adjusted my rear suspension a little softer I guess? I had it pretty stiff and from what I remember if you start to spin you need to loosen the rear shocks to get the weight more on the back right? I took tire pressure down to about 16psi and that seemed to help a bit.

I'm not sure I want to add more boost. I'm pretty happy with the trap speeds, but the 60ft sucks. I thought the 275 et streets would get me better then a 1.7 60ft before I run into traction issues. Maybe next tire will be a slick

O ya, both of them are very knowledgable in the ls world. John has also taught me how use efilive and helps tune my car a lot. Just little tough 400 miles away ha. I bet you could get it hook little better with some suspension tuning but I'm not the right person to ask on that. When mine spins I just get a bigger tire ha. Iv ran the 325/50/15 mt radial for 2 years and it's hit and miss at the track. Iv gone 1.50 with it but not consistently. I ordered the 28/10.5 mt stiff sidewall slick last week and hoping I can get into the 1.4s with it.

Another thing hurting your car is your short first gear which I'm sure you're aware of the 60e. It's gonna be tough to 60 ft that but maybe with a sticky tire you'll be able to. I had a turbo fox with a 60e and loose na converter that did 1.50s on a 275 pro but it was much lighter. ya your car has very impressive mph! Lil more playing with it and you'll get that single digit

Its a cbr performance. I got it because the huron speed one would let the belt get loose after awhile. This one you can really get it tight.
