Coefficient of Discharge trumps about any other measure of efficiency of a head. Also, the CSA is extremely important. The CofD is better and the CSA is smaller.

Both larger than stock.

Also......the advertised intake flow for these heads are at or below the same level as several other aftermarket offerings that have smaller intake ports.

Not sayin' that these aren't good heads.....but lets keep it real.

One thing I've learned over the years is flow numbers don't always paint the full picture.

Flow numbers alone are actually a poor way to chose a head

Is there a build thread or more details available somewhere on this build? I am interested in reading more...

12:1 and E85? Isn't that low compression for an E85 setup?

Unfortunately since it' s E85 it does help my own cause a lot, as I'm a 91/93 octane setup. Thanx though...

I didn't build it but yeah it seems slightly low for E85. I am assuming he can, and does, run 93 if E is not available. 12:1 is not out of the question for 93, depends on the cam timing.

BTW this car eclipses 1000 @ the tire with a 250 direct port shot.

I'd like to see how they perform with a D1X feeding them air.

I agree....flow is only part of the picture. But my comments are directed towards the statements that the heads are flowing 'impressive' amounts of air with smaller than stock ports.....and I don't see that.

Nah.....not gibberish if you know the 'history' and can put the comments in proper context.

My guess is that it's 'Dark Energy', AKA 'Lil John'.......a long time member who's been banned at least twice.
