Default Getting back into the hobby

Well after kicking around the idea of selling my car for quite some time, I have decided to get back into the F-body and detailing hobby. The car has spent almost 15 months in my garage and had not been driven, other than the occasional start up to move it out of the garage.

Over memorial day weekend I decided to take her out for a drive. After a solid hour or so drive I decided to clean her all up. Clay barred and did a 2 stage paint correction followed by a sealant being I had neglected the paint for quite some time. After a number of hours of work I couldn't be happier with the results. I had to remove some scuff and scratched that were acquired from my kids pulling bikes and toys out of the garage. I had to share the finished results. Sorry for the crappy IPhone pics they do the now almost 16 year old paint no justice.

Thank you. I used Meguiars M105/205 combo with foam pads on my DA then Meguiars #20 sealant to finish it off.

Looks great. I have not used it but I have heard great things about it and have been been wanting to give it a try.
