Default What shifter cable for 4L80E in Fox body

Hi! Does anyone know which shifter cable I need to use for a 4L80E conversion in a fox body? I would like to keep the stock 4-cyl shifter.

Linkage I am using:

Hey I know it has been a while since you asked this, but did you ever solve this. I am at that point now with same setup and would like to keep the stock 2.3L shifter still in car.

Anybody got anything on this jump in.
Got to be something out there by now in the aftermarket world.

I was thinking this one.

I have one in my attic and was planning to use the 4 cyl shifter too. Hammer and stock shifters would both use a stock AOD shifting cable, so i think the cable on the shifter side would work. Used in conjunction with your linkage, that might be the ticket. I'm a few months out from this stage though so its only a guess.

I have used both 4 cal shifter and the 5.0 shifter. One was for the 4l60e and the other one is for my glide now. You probably can do it different ways. I used the TCI 4' cable that's threaded on both ends for more adjustments. I do remember on 1 shifter I punched out the ball stud and used a different style fitting. The fitting threaded on my TCI cable. I do know that on both shifters I did cut out the bracket that holds the cable from the shifter. I left part of it and modified it to hold the cable.

I think I would use a cable for a 4l80e instead of the c4, the shifter end can be easily modified, I would think you would need the correct pan bracket for the shifter cable to be in the right location.

my post I said the TCI, that has threaded ends on both ends. Maybe the stock cable could work? but it would have to mate up to the pan on the 4l80e
