Default 2000 ss vs zr1

As a general rule, at this point in life...i avoid street racing like the plague (CDL holder here). But last night, I told my buddy that I was wanting to check out the street scene, as it's very rare that I did that anymore. So as we get to the spot, wouldn't ya know it...a zr1!! After hanging out for a while, he asked if I wanted to do something. I thought for a while (was actually scared tho run) and said sure why not. Zr1 was pullied, ported blower and exhaust, unfortunately no one was filming. We did a 55-150 roll on, I spun on the hit but at 150 he had about half a car on me. Took the L..... but it was still fun. Btw, I was amazed at how that zr1 ran up top... Thought I would catch him fairly easy.......not so.

Hawly chit! The on3 7875 made 1045wtq?! I'm doing a 4.8 7875 build with 4L80e. Have a 6.0 that I was gonna use but needs a rebuild so 4.8 goes in for now. I'm shocked at those power numbers. How much boost?

Good Lawd. I was pretty conservative with my power estimation I suppose lol. I was under the impression that the on3 7875 was only good for about 700ishWHP/700ishWTQ. That's good to know, has me excited for more power now lol.

Oh it will make more. When I get my traction situation squared away, I'm going to try and crack 800 with it. I feel in my heart that it will do it. People sleep on this turbo for whatever reason.

Converter may have influenced that 1045 torque figure. It made 900ft/lbs with the 6 speed.

Oh no, not ashamed in the least. If we ever tie up again, I will be on a tire and brake boosting. That will even the score....

I have the same turbo now, I'm putting my car back together with it. I have here good things.
Why are you running that converter on a turbo car?

That is what PTC spec'd for what i have. I know 5200 sounds stupid high, but you would never know it stalled that high when driving around town. But get on the brake....5200 all day.

Nice, ya sounded high. What is your fuel pump/injector setup if you don't mind? I'm beefing my system up for more power. You being on e85 I know you need more fuel.
