Thanks very much, I feel like it's coming out "generic" looking but should be plenty strong and functional.

Yea, these.
15" rotors from gt500, 6 piston cts v brembos.

They are as big as the original wheels on the car

So these for the back 14.5 gt500 vented rears a little bigger than what's on the axle now.....

Just what the doctor ordered. Those should work nicely to slow that boat down.

This will be my "creepin" / "casin' the joint" minimum rolling height.
Has some decent wheel tuck even without a skirt

It just clears exhaust

Caddy brakes are amazing. Drove Pap's '56 Series 62 coupe with 4 wheel power drums and could bounce your head off the dash with a tippy-toe on the pedal. This thing may look "generic" to the unassuming, but that's what is so cool about it.

Whats even funnier is the size of the brake pedal, you can literally put both feet on it lol! Thanks, can't wait to get it back on the road,

Yesterday's progress.... stuff is finally coming together permanently, I am doing some of the welding myself, more like having slag burn through the tops of my shoes and in between my toes...... for what seemed like forever......
Lower bars are set to length, lower brakets are tacked into place on axle and new portion of frame.
Speaking of that, I have quite a bit of time in that section, the horns are angled with the lower control arms, and should have easy up/down travel. I triangulate them at 15 degrees pointing towards the middle of the car (that's what the caddys original lowers were)
It took some trimming to get the horns to fit around the floor support, so what I cut out, I then boxed back in.

You can see where floor support was in the way

Today I will be working on placement and shorting the upper link bars, they will be heims on the axle, I'm going to weld these circles in, in place of the bushings

Now when I see those cars driving down the road, all I can picture is the front end as the only thing to it, rest of the car might as well not even be there lol!

Looking good! I was wondering about the front brakes and how you were gonna make every thing work? Isn't the ford bolt pattern different on rotors? And how will you mount caliper? Do they sell brackets or you have to make your own?

The front rotors are mustang gt500, they are the same bolt pattern as the crown Vic, 5x4.5.
I'll have to make a bracket to go from crown Vic spindle to the brembo calipers, I haven't even looked at it to see what it will take, I'm have g hard enough time keeping my head wrapped around the rear end right now lol.

Also, I've scratched my idea for the upper links, I found out they make spherical/heims to go in them, seems smarter
