I am going to add the a2w once I order more 4" piping. I really ran out of room to put it where I had planned. So its either in the front driver fender or the inside of the car which I absolutely do not want to do. That is way too much welding and 4" piping for me. I figure Ill leave the car where its at. Take it to the track and get some suspension and launch tuning done on it. Add the cooler and crank it up. It feels pretty quick for 15 pounds of boost. I woulnt doubt if its as fast as it was last year on 26. It feels totally different but better. Car hooks all of first on the street as long as I dont launch it more then off foot brake. Last year it would have troubles hooking 3rd.
I firmly beleive it was because the convertor was so loose last year that as soon as boost would come in, the rpm would shoot straight to about 7k. Now the convertor is so tight its hard for the car to accelerate in 2nd gear. Which is great. Its just asking for power!
The air to water setup will also weigh close to 100lbs with water lol. Sucks.

What about the obvious mullet foul in the last pictures. There is no 3rd gens to be seen anywhere, thereby warranting the mullet foul.

I just wish I had this guys drive! Makes me feel like such a lazy **** with my own project lol I haven't driven my car in a year, granted some is monetary but a lot of it is me making excuses of being tired after work. So it sits.

So track prep wasnt in favor this day. All of my dialed in friends were going a half second slower. It was a **** show. I literally tried to launch on 2 psi of boost and spun on one pass.
pinion angle is -2, and shocks were the same settings they were last time. I loosened them a little bit and it didnt help.

So I finally got it down to the bare minumum. About zero kpa and footbraking the best the car would hold and actually cut a 1.39 60. Car came out quick and nose dived a little. I have been shifting it around 82,-8,500 in first but as I felt it slow down I glanced at the gauges and noticed mid 14's afr, so I shifted at 6,9xx and went to second gear. Not ideal by any means but the car was running 12.90-13.0 afr. so I rode out 2nd gear until I saw 14.0 and let out right about at the trap. Back in the pits one of the fuel pumps failed. Im not sure if it failed in the john force burnout pass or what. But that sucks. So I just gave up for the day. Ordered an extra pump for spare and they are warrantying this one out. I made it 18 months on these pumps last time.Only thing I can think and I did different was add filters. The filters put the inlet higher then they were by about 6-7". When I first fire the pumps I hear them whine and then smooth out. They must get air back up in the line when it sits a few and maybe thats also what was causing my injectors to not get fuel flow when it was misfiring. clogging up the top hat filters with brass material. The pumps have pre filters in the rear of them. So Im going back to them because I never had that problem last year and a half.

Stay tuned! Going back on a slick!

I hope that's all it was man! That burn out pass was rad lol I need more of that in my life..
Is there a reason you're still foot braking vs trans brake?

I foot braked it because it blew the tires way off on 10 psi, way off on 5 psi, and still off on 2 psi launches. So I just foot braked it because it didnt build any boost. It stalls to about 36-3,800 so as soon as I let off it buil;t boost in less then a second. On the 9.2 pass.
Yea the pump is shot, Its not buzzing or making any movement. I drained the tank last night. Ill pull it off tonight and throw another on. I have a couple laying around.

Mediocre boost that creeps from 12.8ish to 14.8 psi. 19 degrees of timing. almost as fast as I was last year.

not bad for a peak of 14.8 psi, 19 degrees of timing, no intercooler, and 255-260 degree iats. 10 psi launch hooked but bogged rpm a little.
Just need more power now!!!
