Freaking exhaust manifolds
I started this past Saturday trying to remove my factory exhaust manifolds. Hardest thing I've ever done! And I'm not trying to brag but I've done a lot. My car has 63000 miles on it and had been garage kept it's entire life but dang if the entire exhaust isn't rusted solid. The passenger side came off pretty well but the driver side was a different story. The very back header bolt was rusted solid and would not turn. I ended up with a rounded off bolt in a really hard to reach place. I pb blasted it, tried a bolt extractor socket, took the cat off that side so I could try from the bottom; all with no luck. I tried to put some vice grips on it but there just wasn't enough space. I just kept soaking it in pb blaster and let it sit and then sprayed more pb and repeat. After 2 whole days, I finally got that stupid bolt to rotate with a simple wrench. Crazy! You wouldn't believe how happy that made me! Let's just say if you could hear me, I'd be slurring because I've had a few celebratory beers! Hey, it's almost independence day and I'm American!

Finished removing the failure of Holley DBW and put in a cable controlled FAST 92mm throttle body. Got it running just in time to do a few open header revs while neighbor was launching a small city's 4th of July firework display in the back yard.

I organized the loose parts on my '68 basket case project to see what parts the seller (a friend) needs to look for in his shop, like ALL the nuts, bolts, & screws he collected when he disassembled it. He's looking, LOL....

Finished up my power steering install on my 67 Camaro. Love it! So much better than manual steering!
After bleeding everything and then taking it around the block for a while and topping it all off, I brought it home and washed it.

Honestly opened the box and thought this is going to suck without a lift . Brought it my buddies house who has a lift and put it on while I was at work. He welded some of it so it doesn't move too which is good because I have no clue how to weld.
