Project Hairy Banana (1967 Camaro single turbo)
The lesson to learn there was that 2 4303's at 43 psi probably flow 4.5 gallons a minute or so of fuel.....way beyond most smaller belt driven pumps.
Data log said I was using around 1000-1100 lbs/hr of fuel and the pumps had no issue keeping up.
Anyway, there is a ton of tech info about it on the bullet and pt.net. Just search my screen name for threads that I have started.

Love the first gen Camaros. I passed up some opportunities to get one fairly inexpensively when I was a young man, regret that now.

Sounds like a solid game plan....
Couple questions....
~What headgaskets (hoping someone would give the Athenas a shot with a sbe/ oem head build.) ?
~Will you share your basic tune approach to making this beast durable (timing relative to boost) ?
~How do you plan on zero decking a sbe ?
~Considering softening the chamber ?? (super cheap and worth it's weight while dealing with a detonation sensitive build. Tooley did mine...and wow made a difference with sensitivity to detonation or I should say lack there of).
~Didn't see anything mentioned about rear suspension setup (maybe I overlooked it)
~With those lofty rpm goals, what is the game plan with the valve train (lifter, valve weight, springs, rockers) ??
Definitely a cool build...

-Tune I have some ideas, but planning to have Jon Capizzi help with a base tune.
-I had the heads decked, the block won't be. I'm tempted to check the ring gaps though.
-Softening the chamber, not familar. I will research.
-This car has full tubs and ladder bars. It needs newer and better rear shocks.
-LS7 lifters, stock 799 valves, BTR .660 springs, stock rockers. SBE baby. Eventually a nicer shortblock....
