Default measurement please

I'm building a wooden cradle to transport an LS engine and need to know how wide the block is just above the pan rail.....thanks.

For transport or shipping? Because these work awesome for the price for just transporting and rolling around the garage. Just have to trim one of the front bolt holes off on each side

Hey thanks Tug, great picture.......no it's for bringing it home in my truck, about 260 miles. Looks like I guesstimated the pictures I looked at because I made it 12" wide at the top. Thanks a lot.......Dave

Nothing wrong with a good guestimation. I have 2 of those Jegs carts you just can't beat them, they come with standard bolts so you have to find some metric ones. Both mine are at my old mans now but it is the front bolt hole on both sides that need cut off for the block to sit down on the pad.
