Unfortunately this is just a fun side build of an LS1 that I aquired from my tuner's 99 Z28
I already have a new LS2 in my Vette and no other car/project that this engine will land in.......YET
I prolly will provide a bunch more build pictures and currently have two potential buyers nibbling on the hook so to speak
One is a fourth gen F-body with an M6 looking to rid his life of Opti-Spark hell
and the other is a buddy with a black thirty something street rod looking to replace his dinosaur-like 350 crate engine with something lighter and more powerful......I will definitely keep those interested with info/pics

On this forum, which are two of the busiest sections? Gen III Internal and Gen III External. The Katech dude should be a little more observant.

They were pimping their $500 CNC job for the NEW LT1/4 heads and still do see quite a bit of LS3/7 stuff
My whole reason for this thread is to showcase a cheap and partial DIY option since I as well as many of you still feel the OLD LS1 is relevant....
My belief is that Katech is/was a sort of GM skunk works division and therefor
is always at the leading edge of technology AND helping to develop new stuff
IIRC the old Wheel to Wheel used that crappy green Nova to test dual fuel system and octane sensing stuff to help GM get into the E85 market
Kurt Urban was/is pretty high tech fella......I remember meeting him Back in Memphis at the Hot Rod fastest street car shootout in 1994...

I always like Katech's reground LS6 camshaft. The one where it ends up as an 112 LSA. No longer available. too bad. I guess they have moved away towards new stuff.
