Well I didn't want to post anymore pics of the floors till they were done, but I don't think had ever shown my boost controller........... I totally forgot it was even there till I pulled the front kick panel out and was like wtf is that!?........oh yea, the boost controller! As you can it can basicly be adjusted from any seat in the car!

Any ways pans/trans tunnel all welded in, I wire wheeled the entire floor and osphoed everything, once it's cured I'll por 15.

POR15 doesn't adhere well to clean metal for me. Try Chassis Saver. Work looks great!

The ospho is supposed to act as a etching primer on clean metal.......
At any rate as expensive as this stuff is I think I'll only be applying to the bad areas, and just black paint it

Another trick with "conserving" POR15. Get one of those ice tea bottles that has a glass bottle and plastic liner in the lid. Store the leftovers in there sealed tight and maybe a wrap of masking tape around the cap as well. I got that **** in the lip of the can it comes in and it took me cutting the can open to get the rest out, lol. Wow does it bond the lid on!

You would not believe the project I made out of the seats.......for the time spent, would have been better off going new/universal......
Hooked shifter cable back up and adjusted again.....what a pain.....
Was messing with the air suspension stuff for mock up, think they will live here

What did you go with for seats? What are you going with for the rears?? I was going to try and buy a mint interior from a northstar since they show up all the time with blown motors....

Seats are out of 07 grand prix, I have 4 front seats, took all power stuff off the bottoms and welded brackets to the seat bottoms.

The rears I will end up taking the covers and foams off the frames and fitting them into the rear area.

I've easily removed about 200lbs of seats lol

Yea, the last such effort will be making the dash and door panels out out of some foam core paneling, minimal insulation.

Anybody wanna make me a carbon fiber hood? Could shave about 250lbs.....

And didn't make the ride, rained all day Sunday, to much bare unpainted metal under the car.

You ain't BSing there! The hood hinges on my C-body were a little rusty/tight. About blew my back out trying to open the damn hood.

See if you can shed some weight on the bumper mounts and reinforcements. They are usually way overbuilt on these cars.

Have someone build you glass bumpers and wrap them with "chrome" vinyl wrap. Just don't bump into anything, lol.

Ok so much to catch you guys up on.......
Big news is we finally got a lift(used ) in the shop!!

So I had been driving the car over the weekend with the moser m88 with spool and and 35 spline axles new 3.73's (old gear was 2.9x) and the really wide 315's and the new 4 link rear.....

And it's really violent!!

It blows the tires off almost immediately and proceeds the shake the axle really violently.

The spool is not for me, but I had to try it. I went, and I got the t-shirt. You can have it back.

It's to early to pass judgement on everything because I've been driving the car around really low because it's cooler that way.
And because I don't have anything but some shrader valves in the rear air bags, so no up and down, just one setting lol.....

So once I get working suspension in and can get the link bars in the position that I intended them to be in at ride height, I'll figure out if I have bar placement problem, or just ride height problem

And might go back to a higher gear.........to many varibles
