I ended up getting summit PTFE hose and fittings. I wanted to get fragola, but I needed too many fittings . I'll let you know how it works out. Also ordered a dual pump harness w/ Hobbs switch from lonnies performance. Had a question about running dual pumps, is a check valve needed ? I ordered one , but I'm not sure if it's needed.

No, no check valve needed. Pumps probably already have them built in, at least the walbro ones do.

Ok cool. Ya I saw one on a dual pump diagram so I was wondering.

Here is another option and the one I use for pre-made PFTE hoses.

FWIW,, the work life expectancy of any of the stainless flex lined hoses used for fuel is between two and three years, in high temp environments, .. That's why usually I do the long runs in hard line.

I use industrial hydraulic mounting clamps to hold the line to the car.

Dirt car sources are often some of the cheapest places to find goodrich or fragola fittings.

-Why does OEM rubber seem to last 20 years but stainless braided around it and now is only good for 2-3

-Is 220*F a "high temp" environment? I Mean the hose is usually only rated to like 350*F I thought and practically all engine liquids need to be 220*F at some point.

need answers or will surely perish

The stainless braid cover is part of the rating for the pressure. The hose itself doesn't have the same internal structure as a comparable non braid covered hose.

I get about a year from my SS braid covered brake hoses which really aren't meant for street cars.

My car has had Fragola ptfe fuel lines in it for 3 years 16000 miles . I don't see them going anywhere for a while. I think he is talking about rubber.

Quick google search stated that life expectancy of aeroquip Teflon braided line to be unlimited for all intents and purposes. This is on an aircraft site.

Speaking of braided line, I found this on both pumps when I pulled the fuel bucket last week. Nearly had a stroke!! I do NOT like this in the tank.

Only hurdle to using sniper intake with a modded truck bracket. Any ideas how I can get a -8 on there? Bango -8 fitting? That's just a junk alt I had laying around but it's normal size.

You can take that fuel rail to any competant machine shop and have them lop off or trim some off the end there n rethread it. Maybe just enough to clear a 120* or 90* fitting. Id try n get a male streit type swivel fitting in there. It cant be that hard or uncommon. Guy who is doing my fab work has fuel rail blanks. They come uncut in length and untapped for injectors. He got em dirt cheap and is finishing them up himself. Granted, he s got more tooling than most dyi guys, but he s not beat for spending $150 on a set of holley fuel rails.
