4l60e jammed manual first and jammed reverse after rebuild My buddy’s 60e has been sitting on my bench for a few months disassembled for rebuild, over the weekend we had time to do a quick rebuild and everything seemed to go smooth until we went to run the car through it’s gear on jack stands, the issue we are having is when I put the shifter in manual low 1stgear and reverse the transmission is locked up as if it’s in park, you can hear the transmission engage into gear but it’s just locked up, the wheels will spin when I put the trans in overdrive but I didn’t want to run the car anymore to prevent any further damage, could the sprag be in backwards? Or a issue with the aftermarket servos? Or a valve body issue? I have only rebuilt one other 60e before this and didn’t have any issue. Any help is appreciated thanks fellas

I've never had a problem with this so I don't know exactly which ones would cause this problem. I'd guess the center bolts.
