P to V Clay results
P to V Clay results Well, my Cometic .051" gaskets came in yesterday. I clayed the pistons and came up with these results:
The squish (red arrows) is now about .040" (.038-.042 depending on how hard I squeeze the calipers
).
The PtoV clearance belongs to which set of colored arrows (Green or Blue)?
For the Green I measured .166" (int) and 0.142" (exh)
I noticed that the side of the valve to the inside of the valve relief (blue arrows) is tighter. That measured .077 (int) and .090" (exh) but I think I squeezed a little too much with the sharp part of the calipers.
So it all looks good. I think I am going to clay every cylinder just to make sure there are no problems and everything repeats.
