I`ve gotten screwed over by them all, but it seems that Advanced is the nicest about price matching and admitting when they were wrong.

i like autozone.... they seem to have the BASIC things i need, just as anywhere else would. For specialty items i have to order- but i think thats a given anywhere.

Napa for any replacement parts. They have a warehouse by my work so they almost always have what I need in stock. Retard Zone pisses me off because they're morons and never have anything I need. There's only 2 Advance Auto stores in this area and they're OK, just way out of my way when I need something. No OReilly stores on this side of the state that I know of.

Only place close to me is advance, not too bad but they can straighten up their act some, i.e. hire people that actually know what they are doing getting the right parts etc.

well, i go to advance for most basic things because napa and advance are close to me and advance has far lower prices and more selection than napa. however, i voted for autozone simply because that's where i can get german castrol 0W-30. it's a 20-30 mile drive though so i never go there for any reason other than oil. autozone for oil, napa for oil filter, advance for everything else. autozone has the biggest store though.

Honestly, just dont rely on the employees. Do your own research and then its all on you. I always jsut give them a list with my part numbers that I know are correct, and then they get them. Ive had probs with Napa reman. stuff, as for the others, it really comes down to how the individual store is ran since you can get same **** at most of them. I find autozone tends to have long lines, Oreilly is better staffed here, and Napa the employees are ******** (here). lol

In my area, Advance, O'Reilly, and Autozone are all in the 'hood and across the street from each other. Advance is the cleanest, best run store. O'Reilly's is second after cleaning up their act. Zone is good for checking DTC's and for carrying GC. Napa is best for carrying quality parts; there were two stores here five years ago, and now there are none.

I have mixed feelings about Napa and Advanced.

Advanced, I went in there (I go there a lot, im in auto mechanics class, everyone knows me) and owning a Jeep, chrysler cluster-fucked all sorts of different parts into different years so my coil and updated harness I needed weren't the part number shown on their screen. Well the lady was FOR SURE that nobody else in town would have it unless I went to a stealership and paid 2x. I was like you know what, I'll go get my cash and brb. Just for S&Gs I stopped by Napa. Told the guy and a minute later he comes walking out with it. Napa won for me there.

Now, Advanced is ALWAYS the first place I go. The people are much more friendly and seem just as knowledgeable (all but 1, we had her looking for spark plugs for a duramax for a while). They are also younger people so they seem easier to talk to.

Walking into Napa, there is only 1 guy I like in there. All the rest are older, stuck up guys. I told them I needed a battery for my Jeep, and even gave the body style. I said it's for a ZJ just to see what he said, and he goes "grand cherokee?". Gotta say I was really impressed. Well the battery just wasn't working for me so I took it back the next day. The guy straight up told me I was a liar and I told him it was for a Cherokee. It pretty much pissed me off and now Advanced gets all my $$ unless they don't have something in stock (which is rare).

I get money back with a giftcard when I purchased 5 things for $20 or more. I have had 4 gift cards I think. Its like they give me a $4 discount each time. So its worth it. JMHO

I don't use any of them. I use a local independent auto parts store in my area. This guy always busts his butt for me to help me when I need certain things even though he may not have all the brands.

I've found that the big chain stores don't really have knowledgeable employees with good attitudes that even really know what they're doing. They seem indifferent and uncarring on whether they get your business or not. Most of the time you get a kid that seems more interested in reading his 4x4 or Hot Rod magazine than helping you.
