Default Little Projects

Ok so far i have a slp lid and bellow and im going to do the ram air mod. I wanted to know what other little projects i could do to make the car faster/have more power. Im trying to keep it under like $400. What are some good mods to free up more power/add power? Oh btw i have a 2002 camaro z28 w/ 38000 miles on it.

(all of this excluding nitrous)

For 400 bucks you could pick up some cat-back exhaust. Now that you have after market air intake, you should look into some of the different cat-back systems, maby the magnaflow is in your price range.

you can get a magnaflow catback for about $350. Also:

Port & Polished throttle body--about $150
TB Bypass mod--<$8
Cutout--about $40-$50

This is what I can think of now, other will pitch in some other info.

De-screen MAF. I picked-up 3 horse 15 minutes after dynoing the first time. 379 first pull, 382 on the second.

Im trying to stay away from a new exhaust and headers, because i want to be able to control the volume of the motor. Im on a restricted liscense and i cant be driving around in a real loud car. But the cutout would work well, because i could just make it loud in a parking lot or something. Oh and are superchips a good or bad idea?

bad idea to the superchip, I guess get a cut out...or just keep saving for a cam setup and be really happy only another $600 on top of your $400, there will be a real performance gain and with stock exhaust it won't be that much louder

Cam swap with stock exhaust is pointless unless its big, the exhaust really wakes up your car and there are quiet set ups with headers.

Cutout and headers, open when u want it loud close when you want it quiet (with the stock catback)
