Lt1...
ok so i crashed my LT1 and i decided to not fix it and get an LS1, so i was wondering how much the engine would sell for since i've been asked several times because im gunna part it out. the LT1 was rebuilt last march and so was the trans. any price ranges?
Somewhere around there, maybe a little higher, depends on if it was documented as built by a reputable builder and /or has a transferrable warranty.
For comparison, I paid 2000 for a complete LT1 engine, 3-400 miles on a performance build with 847 cam, head studs, and similar upgrades recently. included oil pan, valve covers, intake, TB, etc.

I got my car for $3,800 and it runs and drives fine. I'd say you should sell your WRECKED car for more on the lower $2k side. That's also if you're lucky to find a buyer for it in that condition.
