Default Lt1...

ok so i crashed my LT1 and i decided to not fix it and get an LS1, so i was wondering how much the engine would sell for since i've been asked several times because im gunna part it out. the LT1 was rebuilt last march and so was the trans. any price ranges?

im guessing both are stock rebuilds? how many miles? any modifications or other info we should know?

yes the engine is stockand for miles,ihave no clue the previous owner showed me the papers and reciept so idk like i think its a lil over 10,000 miles

Somewhere around there, maybe a little higher, depends on if it was documented as built by a reputable builder and /or has a transferrable warranty.

For comparison, I paid 2000 for a complete LT1 engine, 3-400 miles on a performance build with 847 cam, head studs, and similar upgrades recently. included oil pan, valve covers, intake, TB, etc.

also are you selling the computer, harness, PS and stuff like that with the motor you will get more money.

im gunna try and sell the whole car for like 2-3 cuz my mom is pissed that its just sittin there lol

I got my car for $3,800 and it runs and drives fine. I'd say you should sell your WRECKED car for more on the lower $2k side. That's also if you're lucky to find a buyer for it in that condition.
