You'd probably be the first to ever do it.

For reference if this helps the ls swap is going into a 77 Pontiac Ventura and everything fit but the intake which was odd since the alternator seemed higher but then again idk I’m new to this whole thing

Stepping back a bit

Two simple routes to use what you've got

1) Cap those ports and drill/tap the intake elsewhere

2) Change the accy bracket. The speed engineering swap bracket reuses all the truck components and moves the alt lower to clear most hood lines. Maybe win-win for you without spending much money

The TBSS intake is on all +07 LS engines that arent 6.0/6.2 rectangular port. It's just as tall as the early truck intakes, so hood clearance is problably going to be a problem. They cost about as much as a LS1/2 car intake as well

okay cool and yea I found out the hard way that ss intake wasn’t gonna fit haha but I’ve ordered the brackets this morning after reading and doing the research and I wanna thank you guys for y’all’s patience with me this is my first messing with these ls engines I’m used to just grabbing a 350 or any old school slapping it in and sending it
