nice job on your filler plate looks very clean I don't think mine will be as smooth the aftermarket plate sat well above the bumper cover in some spots almost 1/8" and I didn't want to build up much filler (my plate is plastic welded in). I do like the clean look I need to do that mod!

I see its the clear one now ( I didnt notice earlier when it was on my phone screen) I like the halo drls should look nice in that deep orange color like the challengers.

yeah the headlight cover is a super subtle mod and most probably dont notice it. Just one of those finishing touches that cleans up the front end so much.

I ended up not doing that mod I just didn't have enough time and material but I did paint it finally its not letting me post without replying.

#250 "Forged" from Custom Color shop its awesome in person I still need to wet sand and polish but I'm pretty happy everything came out pretty good the front plate isn't as smooth as I would have liked but I didn't want to have a lot of filler and fear it cracking.

Thank you, I worked hard to make this car my own I'm happy with it, Hoping to have the rear end back soon from my buddy. I'll be ordering the rest of the rims this month along with the tires. I'm ready to drive this car and enjoy it. I have more plans for the interior but I'm going to put them off for awhile I feel exhausted with it at this time and I feel like if I just enjoyed the car again it would bring the motivation back.

oh I completely understand that, my best/worst decision was picking up that GTO. In someways it motivated me to get back to tinkering with cars. In others it sucked the motivation away because I was getting my fix.

its now getting the perfect time of year in my area to have a t-top car with no AC. Its that perfect temp outside for cruising....I just dont have a crusier thats running. Sad thing is I could get it running in an afternoon, there is just some other stuff Id like to do as part of that process that would make it a weekend most likely. nough about my crap though hope you get to enjoy yours its definitely of a kind with that paint job.

I wanted to do lighting and a new gauge overlay which can really be done at anytime. I have the Z28 to do right after this one basically the same process even repainting it (sun faded peel) but nothing exotic just black so it wont take nearly as long.

Went on my first voyage over the weekend oil pressure is 35lbs at idle (6-800 rpms) then goes up to 40-60 while driving. Under 1K rpms it does buck a little once over that the car drives just fine the 4.10s will definitely make your passenger hold on when you get on it (in which I would never do lol). The t56 is shifting very well makes me feel good since I rebuilt it myself. I still need to finish wetsanding and polishing plus putting the lights and front bumper fully together. All in all I'm very happy with this car now it feels good to finally enjoy it again.

Love the color man, does it have a slight hint of blue to it? Looks silver outside but in the garage it has a very slight blue look. anyhow, great job on the car. looks great.

the color in the shade and night time goes through several blue changes the darker it gets the more blue that comes out I love it.

lol Robocop I totally see it now haha

I had some dirt but what killed me was 1 piece of hair got on the front bumper so I'll be redoing that, but really it came out well and I'm happy with it.

So far its been a show stopper everyone is checking it out, the wheels really set the car off!

Its definitely a great looking car, always been a fan of the formula look. The wheels do set the car off. Looking forward to seeing more with this build.
