Default 5 lug guys

What gm or replica wheels will fit a 5 lug swap... I am looking at c6 zr1s don't think they will work... or maybe zl1 wheels...

Any 17s clear the rear with 5 lug swap?

forgestar just released a 6 lug drag pack, fyi, 17x9.5 rear. otherwise the V2 spec drag pack works, too (if you're 5 lug), 17x10 rear.

any other cast 17s probably aren't going to fit. also, most vette wheels are terrible because the rear offsets are super wrong for our car. camaro wheels are even more wrong for this car so scratch that, too.

racestars fit in 17s. welds in 17s. i just don't have access to those...

Where did you get the forgestar info? I don't see it on their website but I am interested.

Since you're a wheel guy, what other models would you suggest have similar backspacing to ours that would work? I know you've mentioned in the past that the GM/Corvette 5 bolt pattern was perhaps not the most ideal and that another 5 bolt pattern would have greater wheel selection.

Would the G8's be similar enough? It looks like they have a decent wheel selection.

i have sold four sets of the forgestar wheels already. i know they exist because i have direct access to them, hah.

bud, instead of switching to 5x4.75 with the swap use base hubs and do 5x115. that gives you the ability to run 5x114.3 wheels which are not more common than 5x120 at all, but will come in a better offset range for this specific vehicle. G8s fit wheels similar to our car, but again, they're 5x120 so lots of wheels are either high offset and skinny or wide and low offset. it's a BMW bolt pattern for the most part.

edit: i think i've got the first set to actually be delivered...
