Default 4l80E width

Hello all,

Having trouble finding the width of the 4L80E at it's core. Needing to check tunnel clearance for a project. Anybody have one laying around? Looking for the main section, and also the oil pan please.

Thanks.

If no one else replies, I can take measurements of mine when I get home tonight.

Thank you Fab57. It's weird that I can find almost all the dimensions, except the girth of the thing.

No problem. As you can see, mine is within easy reach for measuring.

The front of the bellhousing where it bolts up to the engine measures approximately 20.0". That is the widest spot on the trans. The width at the trans pan mounting flange measures approximately 14.0".
