Single fuel line setup. Check valve needed?
I have a GenIII engine install and am using a single fuel line with the Filter/pressure regulator at the back next to the tank.
I am using a Bosch 044 Motorsport fuel pump mounted externally and it does not use a check valve.
My ecu primes the pump at ignition on and then stops until it sees the rotation from the crank sensor.
Should I be using a check valve to prevent the pressure dropping off in the short time before the engine starts cranking and the ecu sees the rotation and restarts the pump?
