Default Making over 900 rwhp

Hey my fellow enthusiast ....
Question ... I'm a oddball type of guy ...,You know the dare to be different sort of guy ... I'm building a 1/8th of a mile street car but I don't want to be the regular TWIN TURBO GUY or Centrifugal supercharger guy .... DOES ANYONE KNOW A WAY I CAN TAKE A LM7 5.3 AND BUILD A COMPETITIVE 800- 1,000 HP DRAG MOTOR USING either the LSA supercharger or a Whipple if so what kind of supercharger can I use and still retain my factory Gbody Hood .... I've already decided to purchase a 4.000 inch crank along with punching my block out to 99 mm is this 900 HP or better obtainable and can I be competitive at the track with this idea

LSA won't support that kind of power very well, will be dumping heat. Kenne Bell or Harrop 2650 will make it. Keep the 5.3 cubes and don't "punch" anything. Thicker walls and shorter stroke will keep it together, let the blower do the work.

Default Thanks a million

Wow I actually thought making it a 383 stroker would have been a power move but I must say your comment has enlighten me and makes sense I'll be doing some research on the blowers you have recommended THANKS A MILLION

Blowers like rpm, unless you have a class restriction on blower size, in that case you run the biggest motor you can with the biggest blower allowed. But if you’re not class racing just put the blower on for your power goal, keep the motor on the smaller side.
