Default PCM Output for TH400 Kickdown?

I'm th400 swapping a 1994 Trans Am. I'm completely new to the efi tuning and ecm hacking game, everything I grew up with had a 4bbl...

I was trying to plan where to put a WOT switch for the electric kickdown on the th400 when it dawned on me that there's already a TPS. Is it possible to to set up the pcm to give a 12v output when the TPS is 90% or higher? For instance could I use the EGR or AIR outputs that I might no longer need and have one of them energize at WOT only?

The PCM cannot control kickdown without a normally open relay that closes to provide the 12V power. It would take some code patching to make it happen. The switch would be alot less involved. I fitted a microswitch to the DBW pedal on my 1987 G20 when it was 6.0L powered. There a couple of companies that make a kickdown switch that mounts in a 700r4 style TV cable bracket as well and use a cable to activate the switch. I setup one of those on my buddies 1987 TPI Firebird.

Unfortunately no. pull shifter down one click haul *** mode engaged.
But B&M makes a switch that mounts to the throttle cable bracket and connects to linkage that will do what you need too. Just gotta hunt kegs and summit.

Either of these should do what you want:
