Lt1 cranks but doesn't start. Has spark and fuel. Checked everything. No codes. 1995 Trans Am 6spd. Drove it home from a friends house 2 nights ago, yesterday it would crank but not start. I have used Shbox's procedure to prove opti signals are going to the ICM. I have tested the opti harness per Shbox. Security light is not on. I have spark at the coil and #1 cylinder. SCAN9495 says the VATS fuel enable is on, SCAN9495 has an rpm readout while cranking. No electrical faults. No DTCs or CELs. Spraying starting fluid into the throttle body does not work. I'm running an MSD blaster coil. Cap and rotor were changed to MSD 15k miles ago, "Ran when parked."
Could it be weak spark?
Could it be a bad ICM or coil? MSD Blaster coil reads 20k Ohms. Stock is 8.5k Ohm. I will try a stock GM coil tomorrow.
