So I've noticed my rear tail light filler decal is getting faded (its still clear, but now is orange, instead of red).
Ordered a replacement off eBay, and am pretty disappointed in terms of its quality. See photo.
Compare the original filler to the decal, and notice how little detail the replacement decal has, particularly in the Firebird's head and thickness of the wing edges.
(For those who might say, "Why replace the OEM decal, it looks perfect?" The photo was taken under a yellow patio umbrella, and the photo makes the decal look much redder than it actually is)
So: who makes the best quality repro decals for these rear filler panels? I've already sanded and polished another filler panel, and its perfect and shiny, ready for a new decal.
I agree, its better. But note the original decal bird has an eye, while the replacement one is lacking the eye. I'm still looking, anyone else have any suggestions? I've looked at various big vendors (eg. Classic Industries and Phoenix Graphics), their quality also appears lacking (decal with poor overall detail).
