hello everyone, this is my first post so dont yell at me, but I bought a 2003 chevy express van with the 4.8 and the optional 4L80e. I took the 4l80 and the flex plate. and I was wondering If i could use the flex to bolt the 4l80 to my 5.3, it has the little spacer on the crank side of the flex plate, but i wanted to make sure it would work before I get myself into a pickle

It will bolt to a 5.3 the same way it bolted to the 4.8.
