Default Easiest way to check oil pressure mechanically

Hey folks! Like it says, what is the easiest way to do this? I am open to installing a gauge in the car, putting one underhood, or just using a mechanical tester. What is the easiest way to do this? As a tech veteran, I did a good bit of searching before posting but didn't find the tidbit I was looking for: where to tap in. I'd prefer not drill and tap if it can be avoided. It's the 99 SS in my signature. Thank you!

I've done it two different ways. I did mechanical gauges for water temperature, fuel and oil pressure on an Autometer triple pillar in my 99 Camaro

1st time was with a banjo style fitting that I installed on the valley cover where I could still use the electronic gauge but was able to run a 4AN braided line off of it so I can put a mechanical gauge under the hood of my 01 SS.

2nd time I purchased an ICT Billet oil pressure block off plate and ran gauges up into the cockpit.
