I'm going to build an 8.8 on the cheap. I have no use for my stock rear so I'm going to use the axles etc from my 10 bolt. My question at what point will I start breaking them on the street? I currently have HCI car running 9lbs of boost making 600ish to the wheels, M6 trans. Stock 10 bolt is still in there and working but its leaking at the tubes so I know I'm flexing it.

If you're already planning on building an 8.8 "on the cheap" why not just put some 31 spline axles in?? That said if you're just running a street tire and spinning you should be fine on stock axles, it's when you start hooking is when problems start rising
