As per the title my 97 T/A surges in idle when I come to a stop at say an intersection or light. Heck just sometimes pulling the car out of gear (say to down shift), will sometimes cause the car to jump in idle up to around 2000. It will eventually settle back to around 1100. Any ideas What I am looking at? No codes come up. I did have a code recently for the EGR valve, but I doubt that is related.

 

Check TPS and the IAC. Them or if any small hose came off and you have a vacuum leak.
