Question about LS swap wiring basics
Hello guys, please bear with me, I am very new to this stuff.
I am planning a LS swap, the LS engine I've got is a 5.3 junkyard LH6, from a 07 silverado, thats so much I know, the engine came with harness but the harness is cut in some places.
There are some Gen 4 LS swap standalone wiring harnesses for sale online, but the ones that have Gen 4 ECU connectors require you to choose what electronic throttle from which LS vehicle you are using for your swap in the options, link: https://bp-automotive.com/product/20...-swap-harness/
however there is another one that says it's Gen 4 aftermarket standalone wiring harness but it has the long blue and red Gen 3 connectors for the ECU, link: https://www.psiconversion.com/produc.../HAR-1059.html
Can I use the second one on the LH6 assuming I am doing a full DOD delete etc? And utilize a Gen 3 ECU?

PSI builds a great harness - I have two of them. But I don't understand why you would use a Gen 3 ECU with an LH6 that is an early Gen 4 engine. Call up PSI, they give great advice.
